Original Paintings

Our Nautical Shops artists live and labor near the Atlantic Coast they love. The art they create travels straight from their heart and head to canvas, wood, paper or another support. In an “original”, the medium can be oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, pencil or a mixture of various media. When you acquire an original, you will be the sole owner of that work of art. If the artist reproduces the image for distribution, the value of your original will be enhanced.

Note: Pastel is a medium made from pure colored pigment mixed with a binder. Depending on formal design elements and the artist’s intent, a pastel work can be classified as either a painting or a drawing. We defer to the artist to make that determination.
