JAMES HORTON ARTIST STATEMENT

“The magnificent harbors and riverside communities of Coastal North Carolina  are a never-ending source of inspiration for its unique views and nautical scenes that invite colorful interpretation of the nautical scenes all around me. “

“As a lover of the ocean, my latest work is influenced by the history and vibrancy of the Carolina coastal and river towns. Whether it’s a panoramic ocean view or a seaside beach house I am equally energized  to create works that are both unique and insightful. I am fascinated by the history of the area and the buildings that have so many stories to tell.”
